A New Jersey native, Les Rogers is a painter with unique brand of abstract realism. In 2012, he paired with Oakley to paint two-time gold-medalist Kerri Walsh of the U.S. Olympic volleyball team and exhibited a new series of paintings at Half Gallery in New York City. He has had four solo shows at the Leo Koenig gallery, where he exhibited his the large scale works Bright Bedroom and Large There, exhibited at Haunch of Venison, and has had international exhibitions at the Suzanne Tarasieve gallery in Paris. Rogers’ large scale paintings are collected by several prominent art collectors including Elton John and real estate mogul, Jerry Speyer.
