This print sees Hirst playfully reimagine Minnie Mouse as one of his iconic series of spot paintings. In offering his own interpretation of Disney's best-loved characters, Hirst follows in the footsteps of artists including Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Claes Oldenburg. He explains: '[They] represent happiness and the joy of being a kid and I have reduced the shapes down to the basic elements of a few simple spots.'
