This new screen print is based on the fine art I created specifically for my solo show "New Day Rising", which opened at ABV Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia last month. Along with being a big fan of the Hüsker Dü album "New Day Rising", I was inspired by my philosophy that even during difficult times the future holds possibility and hope. Every day is an opportunity for rebirth, resilience, and to create something better than what we currently have in the world. The possibility of change begins with recognizing what needs to change. I think it's important to question systems of power while pointing toward something more harmonious and acting daily to manifest our ideals. -Shepard
