We are excited to welcome back New York artist Matt Siren who, is well known for his "Ghost Girl" image. He uses childhood memories to tell a story through iconic illustrations like candy to the eye.
"This piece was originally created in 2005. The icon in this piece was created to represent and embody my work as a whole. Coming from a graffiti background, developing a female image to tag with was a challenge and taking a chance. I wanted the image to be appealing to more than one audience. The piece is a cropped version and sporting a distressed / washed out look to symbolize the way life can physical decay. Half the icon was inspired by the ghosts from Ms. Pac-Man.
