"This is my tribute to Commander Makara from Star Fleet / X Bomber. I’ve started working on a series of homages to various female characters, which I feel have inspired my Stabby Women in some way or another. Commander Makara is definitely one of them and was actually the first one that sprung to mind. I plan to continue the series on the new year.
I knew I wanted to make a one color print and similar to the Sphinx edition from the Summer, I chose to invert the character to make use of the negative space, which I think helps to create maximum impact. It also gives the appearance of a traditional brass rubbing, which I also like." - Kid Acne
