An artist immersed within the urban landscape, Alex Scaner has established himself over the last 20 years as a major figure in the Montreal graffiti scene. Following a Bachelor in Design at UQAM in Montreal, Alex Scaner has put his focus in calli-graffiti and the potentials of urban art in design. Thru the use of abstraction, this contemporary graffiti artist has combined his urban style with a fine art practice. Scanner explores the micro and macro dimensions of the graffiti 'tag', to create his painted works.
