Leaning into it
Archival pigment print, 22" x 22"
Signed edition of 50
$200
We first learned about BP Laval's paintings from Fulton Ryder who included his work in their Printed Matter booth during the 2014 New York Art Book Fair. We were drawn to his free floating scenes of carnal desire which recalled a libidinal mix of Lucian Freud, Betty Tompkins and late 90s Cecily Brown.
Laval says "my favorite sport is watching paint dry, you have the time to think about sex, beautiful women, and sex."
