I was born in February 1980.
By 2008 I graduated in Sculpture by the University of Fine Arts in Lisbon, major in ceramics.
By 2010 I did a Master in Drawing and Artistic Anatomy, which in some kind showed me a new brave world, the organic world, everything that is born and that dies.
By 2009 I started to develop my first experiments using the wire as a technique.
I was looking for a synthesis between Sculpture and Drawing that could allow me to represent life and what life has of more fragile, ephemeral and singular.
I strongly believe the artistic creation has a value by itself but its in the interaction with the viewers eye, and mainly by his memory, that the artistic works find their true space.
The figure, the portrait, the scene, they also served as a mean to explore the metamorphosis, the tiny details of the world we live in and the way it shows to us.
I search the fourth dimension - the Time. I search the time in order to fulfill the empty spaces that inhabit my works.
