Harry Michalakeas draws with the wind, clouds, tree branches and the sky. Using graphite, black chalk, pastel and charcoal, the artist investigates identity in the web of nature, particularly through a kind of metamorphosis of the female form.
Born and raised in England, Harry Michalakeas currently lives and works in Dallas, Texas. His drawings have been featured in several group exhibitions, including: The 13th Hour, Last Rites Gallery, (New York, NY, 2015) and Latent Form, The Marcas Gallery (Santa Ana, CA, 2016). He is currently represented by Last Rites Gallery.
