People are usually curious about my technique, because of all the collage. so, I start with ripping up magazines and playing around with collage and acrylics until I get more or less a composition that i like. Then i shellac the whole thing with amber shellac. That is now the base for the oil painting on top. So that is more of a recipe. My inspirations are from Old Masters religious paintings to Klimt to Silvia Ji! i like starting from trashier images like shampoo and jewellery ads and trying to make something of a more classic beauty....
