Ed Templeton is a professional skateboarder and artist based in Southern California. Kissing Kids is a print of a hand-painted photograph from Templeton's "Teen Kissers" series. For the past sixteen years, Templeton has obsessively captured teenage displays of affection around the world. Templeton says of the series, "We all remember our awkward teenage phases. I hope that spirit comes through." "Teen Kissers" is a companion to Templeton's iconic "Teenage Smokers" series from the 1990s, which explored the big tobacco irony underlying the quintessential act of rebellion.
