At only 24 years-old BORF is considered the most compelling artist currently emerging from graffiti. The seditious former street artist’s serene paintings with a wrathful message have enthralled fans and collectors alike. In the UK for his auspicious ‘See Something, Say Something’ debut UK show at The Outsiders Newcastle, Washington’s BORF was immediately struck by the country’s epidemic of closed circuit television (‘CCTV’). ‘An Eye For An Eye’ is a charming watercolour of a vandalised CCTV camera. It was screen printed and painted entirely by BORF at our Execution Dock studio in London during a successful stay that you can see more about in The Outsiders news. The camera itself is screen printed and finished by hand with watercolours while the backgrounds are entirely hand painted.
