Super Symmetry is a globalized self-portrait composed with an eclectic range of patterns culled from around the world. Informed by Victor Hugo's musings on the seismic changes enacted by the advent of the printing press, Ziegler's distinct imagery recalls a pre-internet sense of self by replicating an antiquated visual language, inviting viewers to contemplate a universal zeitgeist by calling forth a deeper, primitive pattern recognition.
