Fight Club (The Mess We Make) is the latest in a series of acclaimed prints by Irish street art superstar Conor Harrington. It's inspired by the painting of the same name that was first displayed at Lazarides' 2012 Bedlam off-site spectacular. The edition references China's rise to superpower status – and the unseemly jostling amongst the international community that's inevitably followed. It continues Conor's theme of using contemporary figures in historical settings to illustrate the geo-political zeitgeist. The two sword fighting figures first appeared in Conor's mural The Duel of Bristol painted at the city's See No Evil festival last year.
These large format Giclée prints have been treated with our silkscreen gloss formula, deepening the colours and adding a tactile sheen. The gold leaf is of 22-carat quality and comes hand-applied by skilled artisans at our dedicated Execution Dock studio.
