"Vapour is from a recent set of drawings, presented white on black. The first was titled Human, and was a specific print made in associated with the Saatchi Gallery for a ten year print show held in 2016. Vapour is the second in this series. Both prints have a universal feel, made in a turbulent climate. No matter what colour, sexuality, religion, we are all Human. We all want and need Love. Even when we have barbed wire and bullets, love will prevail. Unlike my paintings, vapour was a fast drawing, spontaneous and captures something a painting doesn't. And as I'm like a sponge, my work often reflects the climate as I make it."
