We are pleased to announce that the first in our new series of affordable Risograph prints is by the one and only Dscreet. Renowned around the world for his popular owl character, he used to paint as part of the infamous Burning Candy crew. His bright and instantly recognisable murals can be seen the world over and his original works are highly sought after.
The Riso Revue Society is a new outlet for a series of prints released by Scraffer and Colour Format. A new one will be released every month, with the ethos of the series being to produce high quality Risograph prints which will be available for less than a pony each.
Risograph is a Japanese printing process that dates back literally tens of years. It is basically a screenprint that's been produced by a machine not dissimilar to a photocopier. Each colour is applied separately, much like a screen print, with this particular print comprising of 4 different colours. The finished product has all of the traits of a screen print, but we can bring them to you at a much lower price. All of the prints released by the RRS will be A3 size (42 x 29.7cm).
Each print will be shipped in a state of the art brown 'do not bend' envelope, not dissimilar to the ones quite possibly used in the NASA office to store documents which they want to remain un-bent.
Each print is signed and numbered from an edition of 100. The print has a total of four colours: Black, Yellow, Gold and Fluo Orange.
