This piece is a 7 colour silkscreen print on acrylic and a stunning example of various printing styles amongst which is a beautifully executed split-fountain method where different inks have been placed next to each other at the edge of the screen. With each successive pull of the squeegee, the inks gradually start to blend with one another, forming new colours or tones. Central to this piece is a figure sitting on the edge of a cliff, casting a graded and slightly textured shadow and frontal line filled with a delicate thread in 23ct gold.
With a wink to Brighton and its environs, the artist pays homage to his formative years in the city, reminiscing about the locally well-known Beachy Head cliff.
This piece comes framed and signed and numbered by the artist.
