Drawing from the lineage of still life painting and pop-inflected portraiture, Too Much is Never Enough is an ode to abundance and overstimulation. Zuckerman litters the composition—a convoluted depiction of a vase placed on a checkered floor—with collaged, found images that collapse cultural hierarchies. Flowers that nod to Dutch floral paintings and Van Gogh's irises reside alongside popular figures such as Mrs. Potts from Beauty and the Beast, while floating squares and glitchy motifs interrupt the illusion of space. Simultaneously lush and fractured, the work forms a hybrid, visual language of digital overload and identity fragmentation. In the artist's own words, "It is a celebration of complexity—an exuberant meditation on domesticity, desire, and the curated performance of beauty."
Of ART FOR CHANGE's initiative to support the Ali Forney Center, Zuckerman additionally notes, "The Ali Forney Center does life-saving work for LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness, offering not just shelter but affirmation and dignity. As an artist whose practice centers on reimagining representation and challenging exclusionary norms, I believe deeply in the importance of creating space—both literal and symbolic—for queer youth to survive, thrive, and feel seen. It's an honor to support an organization that is making such a tangible impact."
