Be Mine, created in 2025, is based on found Photo Booth strips featuring people whose names have been lost to time. Butler revives these anonymous figures with radiant presence, transforming them into an intimate portrait of budding love. The original quilt – made with cotton, silk, lace, sequins, netting, vinyl, glass rhinestones and beads – is a prime example of Butler's signature textile portraiture, where material, colour and pattern carry both emotional and historical weight.
This edition features silkscreen gloss and sparkle overprints, translating the diverse textile elements of Butler's original quilt into a luminous new limited print.
