The revolution has always suffered from poor marketing - until now. America’s Trustocorp use polished visuals, belly laughs and a refreshing upbeat humanism to kick against the pricks. “There’s a lot of hilarious behaviour, of hypocrisy, in how we behave as a society right now and it’s healthy to make fun of it,” the collective says. Intervening on the street with their trademark double-take signage, on newsstands with fake celebrity magazines, or even in supermarkets with ersatz thought-provoking products Trustocorp have already made national TV news headlines in the USA and Europe. The collective’s gallery shows are equally ambitious and we’re ablaze to announce Trustocorp’s first ever solo show away from the USA at The Outsiders Newcastle gallery in October 2012.
