Since birth, the demigod Hercules battled beasts and endured hardship. To serve others and lead a path of purpose through adversity versus a vain path of pleasure and comfort was a constant struggle. Despite his strength, the greatest fight to overcome was his ego. To realize true power required humility, awareness, and above all, discipline. Based on the sculpture of Bosio's Hercules fighting Achelous, this print is produced on special museum etching paper and includes a custom embossment of a skull embracing serpent.
