'Fullmoon@Valley Floor' was taken in Patagonia under a full moon using a long exposure, allowing a softness and delicacy to come to the surface of the photograph. Printed on subtly textured paper, this work references both Almond’s landscape photographs and his interest in archival film footage from the regions he has visited. The ‘Fullmoon’ series maps the artist’s fascination with geology, myth and history and indirectly comments on the effect human intervention has on the landscape.
