'A Light Impression' is an embossed silk screen print on paper. Marking a temporality that occupies much of Almond’s photography, this work also highlights the artist’s interest in the interpretation and translation of memory. The work's background is printed with a grid to represent chart paper, acknowledging man’s urge to map his own place in time and space.
